1. Warranty Coverage Overview

All devices sold by iExpert Market come with a 12-month warranty, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Warranty applies to:

  • New devices – 12 months
  • Refurbished devices – 12 months
  • Used devices (where stated) – 12 months

The warranty covers functional hardware faults that arise during normal use.


2. What Is Covered Under Warranty

This warranty covers manufacturing or functional defects, including but not limited to:

  • Device not powering on
  • Faulty internal components
  • Speaker, microphone, or camera faults
  • Charging port failure (not caused by damage or debris)
  • Display faults (excluding accidental damage)
  • Network or connectivity faults not caused by misuse

All covered faults must be confirmed by our technical inspection.


3. What Is NOT Covered Under Warranty

The warranty does not cover the following:

Battery & Consumables

  • Battery health degradation
  • Reduced battery capacity over time
  • Normal battery wear and tear

Battery performance naturally degrades with use and is not considered a fault.


Damage & Misuse

  • Accidental damage (drops, cracks, dents)
  • Water or liquid damage
  • Fire or heat damage
  • Physical or cosmetic damage
  • Bent frames or pressure damage

Software & User Issues

  • Software faults caused by updates or third-party apps
  • Viruses or malware
  • Data loss
  • Forgotten passwords or account locks
  • iCloud, Google, or Samsung account locks

Unauthorised Repairs

  • Repairs or modifications carried out by third parties
  • Opening or tampering with the device
  • Removal or alteration of serial numbers or IMEI

4. Cosmetic Condition

Cosmetic condition is not covered by warranty.

Scratches, marks, or signs of prior use on refurbished devices are expected and will match the condition grade stated on the product page.


5. Warranty Claims Process

To make a warranty claim, please contact us before returning any item.

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the fault
  • Photos or videos (where applicable)

Returns sent without authorisation may be refused.


6. Inspection & Resolution

Once received, the device will be inspected by our technicians.

If the fault is covered:

  • We will repair the device, or
  • Provide a replacement (subject to availability), or
  • Issue a refund if repair or replacement is not possible

The resolution method will be determined at our discretion.


7. Warranty Timeframes

  • Warranty repairs typically take 5-10 working days
  • Replacement times may vary based on stock availability
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 5-7 working days

8. Return Shipping for Warranty Claims

  • Customers are responsible for shipping the item to us
  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service
  • iExpert Market is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit

If the fault is confirmed as covered, return shipping costs may be reimbursed at our discretion.


9. Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.


10. Business & Trade Purchases

Devices purchased for business, resale, or trade purposes may have different warranty terms and are not automatically covered under this consumer warranty unless agreed in writing.


11. Statutory Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected by this policy.
